PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS' MEETING

On January 20, the second meeting of teachers working with students with intellectual disabilities took place at Brinje Primary School under the auspices of the Eco-Schools program. The meeting unfolded in a pleasant and encouraging atmosphere, where we exchanged experiences, presented our projects, teaching methods, and pedagogical content related to the guidelines of the Eco-Schools program.

Through presentations and workshops, thirteen thematic units were introduced, including activities from the international Erasmus+ CLENA project. Part of this project was implemented in 2024 under the auspices of CUDV Dobrna in collaboration with project partners from Serbia and Turkey. Klara Božnik and Simon Krajnc presented a diverse range of project activities, objectives, and thematic directions of the project, while Aleksandra Kvržić led a workshop on creating art from recycled paper using deep printing and collagraphy techniques.

We are pleased that, within the Eco-Schools program, we have secured our own space dedicated to our specific field of work, where we can exchange experiences, knowledge, ideas, and best practices with teachers from related organizations in implementing activities with students with intellectual disabilities.
