World Water Day 2024 in Slovenia: Protecting Natural Treasures

Every year on March 22nd, the world observes World Water Day, reminding us of the importance of this natural resource and the need for sustainable water resource management. In Slovenia, the land of crystal-clear rivers, springs, and lakes, this day holds special significance as we recognize the extraordinary wealth of water and its crucial impact on our lives, economy, and ecosystems.

This year's World Water Day 2024 in Slovenia was dedicated to the theme "Protecting Natural Treasures." It was focused on preserving the purity and abundance of water resources and promoting awareness of the importance of conserving natural environments crucial for ensuring water quality.

In our organisation we dedicated the day to creating posters on the theme of water. Through posters expressed concern and commitment to protecting Slovenia's natural treasures. This activity is an encouraging action and awareness-raising, and strengthening the connection with the fundamental natural resource – water.
