ECO SKITTLES
We combined the joy of creation and ecological awareness into a simple project - we made eco
skittles for a game out of plastic bottles. This fun activity not only recycles used and discarded
bottles but also encourages creativity and enjoyment. In the making, we focused on four steps:
1. Step: To start, we collected empty bottles that would otherwise be thrown away in the
waste bin. We also prepared various colored papers for decorating the skittles, adhesive
tape, scissors, and beans to weigh down the skittles.
2. Step: We cleaned the bottles and let them dry. We filled all the bottles with filling
(beans), thus ensuring their stability.
3. Step: Here, we indulged in creativity. We used paints, eyes, and mouths. We portrayed
skittles that were happy, scared, surprised, and funny.
4. Step: Our eco skittles were ready, and it was time to play! We set them up at a distance
and competed in knocking down the skittles.
Making eco skittles from plastic bottles is an excellent way to recycle and create your own fun.
Not only is this a fun project, but it's also a great way to promote sustainable thinking and
reduce waste. We had a lot of fun!
